Dear diary series

There is something about process that connects the spectator with the artist, more than just saying, “I do a sketch, then I paint and I am done”; it is never so simple. Understanding where the artist begins and then seeing where it ends is all a part of the story. My focus initiates with gathering my thoughts collectively and seeking out concepts. The ideas for my works are derived from life experiences and it is never just one topic. The detail of each story has roots deeper than they appear. 2yard by 3yards large mixed media

Stage 3

At this point after doing more research i have decided to seprate this piece form the collage and allow the growth that has taken place while working on this piece to become a new body of work. After doing more reacerach instead of sticking to one subject as before this is now a entirely new direction that my work is taking. (new imagesto come soon)
